Our Babymoon :)

Brennon and I decided last minute to drive down to Rocky Point and stay at his parent's condo for he weekend! It was a nice get away and something we've been wanting to do before the baby comes. We wanted to go somewhere and relax before things started to get really crazy, but we weren't sure what we wanted to do. Brennon came home on Thursday about 1:30 and mentioned going to Rocky Point and by 3:00 we were on the road! Very last minute, but very fun!

The condo was so nice and it wasn't crowded at all. On Saturday we noticed the crowd pick up a little, but we were still able to get a little cabana on the beach every time we went there! The weather was warm which made the water feel amazing! We went swimming in the ocean everyday and then lounged under our little tiki cabana thing. So relaxing. We brought most of our own food and just ate in our room, but Saturday we splurged and went out for lunch and dinner and then had dessert sent up to our room!

Friday was our first full day there and slept in, took our time getting ready and wandered on down to the beach. We spent most of the day there and got into the ocean a few times. Brennon snoozed in the sand for a little then we went back to the room, ate some food, and watched a couple movies.

Saturday we went into town and walked around all the little shops. I got a pair of cheap sunglasses and Brennon got some flip flops since Wrangler ate his last pair, and some new swimming shorts since apparently the last time he wore them he was a little more plump :) they were practically falling off. We got some souvenirs for mom and dad for watching Wrangler and Cooper for us and then went to a restaurant over looking the ocean and had some lunch. Brennon and the steak fajitas and I had the butter garlic shrimp. It was sooooooo good! My stomach is growling just thinking about it. When we were buying Brennon's flip flops, the guy that sold them to us offered to sell us some illegal drugs, "something to relax us" he said... We just looked at him shocked. Hello?! Clearly I'm pregnant you idiot! Brennon just looked at him and said, "Are you kidding? We don't do that."

When we were finished with our day of shopping we headed back to the condo, got into our swimming gear and headed back to the beach. We set up under our little cabana and Brennon cat-napped again and went swimming a few more times. That night we ate at the restaurant at the condo, but didn't order anything too special, except I did get a pina colada! You can't go to Mexico and not get a pina colada! After dinner we went back to the room, became couch potatoes and watched some more movies and ordered tres leche cake! It was yummy!

Sunday we woke up, packed up, and headed home. We stopped and got some hot fresh tortillas and snacked on them the whole way home! We made pit stop in Mesa on the way home to visit with Brennon's family since we got the news that his grandpa passed away that morning. We went to his grandma's where most of his family was and hung out there for a while.

It was a very fun and relaxing trip! It was just what we needed. Thanks Ivan and Denise for letting us stay at the condo and thanks mom and dad for watching the kiddos for us!
