Getting Closer!

Since we only have a couple months left before our bundle of joy gets here, we've been getting his room ready. We're going with a cowboy theme for his room and it's so cute! We were using the room for storage and could barely walk around in there, so a couple of weeks ago we went through everything and donated a bunch of stuff to the senior center. The only thing left to do is get Brennon's fly tying desk out of there and move it to his parent's house. He wont be needing it right now since fly fishing is best in the springtime (so I hear...) We moved everything to the middle of the room and I started painting. I didn't realize how difficult it is to paint when you're 7 months pregnant! I was bending over to paint the bottom and every time I'd straighten up I'd have to catch my breath then head to the bathroom to pee!! But, I'm happy to say, I did it! Next on the list was the wallpaper border, which was such a hassle. I thought I could do it by myself so I got everything ready and attempted it.... Not a good idea. I was so frustrated I started calling the wallpaper bad names! After that, I knew it was time for me to stop and wait for help. When Brennon got home he pitched in and helped me put up the first strip, but then we stopped after that since it was getting late and we were both tired. The next day my mom came over and helped me with the rest and it looks great! Thanks for all the help!

My fantastic paint job.. I didn't bother making it pretty since it's going to be covered up with wallpaper.

I got this for his room when I went to Iowa with my parents, I think it fits in really good!
