BUSY April

Well, I am waaaaaay overdue for a post! I don't even have an excuse.... Just laziness...

April has been a pretty eventful month for us. Easter, Uncle Stevie's birthday, Great-Grandma Cookie's birthday party, Daddy got stitches, Stevie started rice cereal, and Stevie's second car show and his second trip to the movies! Whew! Oh yeah.... and we got a goat... And I have pictures from ALL of them (except for the movies)!

Easter:

This Easter we went up to Pine with my parents and had ourselves some crab legs!! Grandpa fired up the John Deere and took Stevie for his first JD ride. He had a blast of course! He also took a spin on it with mama!

Uncle Stevie's birthday:

Stevie's birthday was April 13 so we went over the cemetery and brought over some balloons and hung up a little flag. He would be 25 this year. We love you and miss you Stevie!

Great Grandma Cookie's birthday party:

Grandma's birthday was actually is February, but her and Grandpa were in Mexico at the time so we celebrated when they came home. She turned 70 this year!

Daddy got stitches:

Brennon came home with a little slice to his thumb. He was at work cutting some drywall with a utility knife and sliced his thumb! His cut was about two inches long and he had to get 8 stitches! Good thing his dad's a doctor!

Stevie's second car show:

Stevie and I joined Grammie and Grandpa at the Payson car show this year. It was fun as usual, but very, very windy. We had to bundle the little guy up! One of dad's cars won an award, but I can't remember which one it was...

Brennon fixed up the backyard and repaired all the holes so Wrangler couldn't get out. Since we have so many weeds, Brennon thought we should get a goat. I refused for a long time, but for some stupid reason I gave in.. He drives me absolutely crazy and he is so loud! He cries and screams and wakes me up at 6:00 in the morning! I thought only roosters did that! He's getting a little better though. Now that we don't need to bottle feed him anymore, he's been roaming around the yard eating grass. Now that he's doing that, he doesn't spend every minute at the back door yelling at me to come play with him. We named him Ruger (like the gun).
