Flooded

This morning I woke up extra early to finish a paper that was due today only to find a puddle of water in the dining room. The wet spot rapidly got bigger and went into the guest bedroom! So at six thirty I'm running around trying to find someone to help but no one is here because it is so early! I called my parents and they ended up driving all they way down here (thanks mom and dad). Our water heater is broken and my dad ended up having to get a new one. It was so disgusting and moldy and I smelled like mildew big time! I'm getting kind of tired of having our place flood! It's not fun.. The same carpet people as last time came back over and had to do the same thing as last time. They tore the carpet up and took the pad out. We have these really big and really loud dryers in the hall and dining area and you can hardly hear anything over the noise.. I ended up missing school and not being able to turn in my paper. The good news is that I emailed my teacher and we worked it all out! Thank goodness. And to make things worse, our air conditioning isn't working! Just when it's starting to get to 90 degrees our a/c takes a dump. One thing after another I swear! Oh well, I guess if I look at the silver lining I did get extra time to write my paper!! And I got to spend some time with my parents.

So anyway, I hope everyone had a better day than me and hope everyone is doing well.
