Another problem I've come face-to-face with...

So I'm putting my make-up on, getting ready for work when I hear this really loud knocking on my door. I opened the door and it's one of the maintenence guys at the complex. He comes in and says the condo next door is extremely flooded and wants to see if any water came into our place. He goes into the guest bedroom and sure enough, the carpet is soaked...So here I am, without a phone, I can't call anyone, I can't call into work to tell them I can't make it. I used the maintenance guy's phone but of course, no one answered. I've been debating whether or not I should go upstairs and ask our neighbors who I've never met for their phone, but instead I walked over to the office. On the way there I saw a guy who was familiar so he let me use his phone. I called Brennon, but he was no help.. He can't get off work to come help me deal with this so I called my dad to see if he would drive down here and help me, but he didn't answer, so I finally called my boss to see if she would cover me and she said she would. I feel so terrible, I think I woke her up and the last time the roof was leaking she had to cover me!! This sucks! I can't just leave the door unlocked for them, they said I have to be here! I think they're going to have to remove the carpet.... STUPID WATER! I walked next door to see what it looked like and the outside is completely flooded, all the water gushed out the doors and the windows are all sweaty. They said they couldn't even open the door, they had to crawl through the window to get in!! So I guess I should stop complaining because it could be a lot worse for me.
